Application & Selection Process

Eligibility

The Award, to be given for demonstrated excellence in innovation, is solely intended to the present undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students/ scholars of IIEST, Shibpur, who has shown good conduct in the Campus.

Award Application Process

The award will be announced through the IIEST website and other institute channels indicating the timeline. All applications, supported with required documents, shall have to be submittedonlinethrough this dedicated Online Award Portal as per prescribed format and guidelines.

Award Selection Process

The Award selection shall be in two stages:

STAGE 1: PRELIMINARY SELECTION by the donor group

STAGE 2: FINAL SELECTION by the Award Selection Committee to be constituted by the IIEST administration.

Next Step

The donor group will screen the applications under PRELIMINARY SELECTION and forward a maximum of five applications under each category for FINAL SELECTION. The Award Selection Committee will select the final awardee (s). The decision of the committee will be based on review of the applications and through an interview process. The applicants need to appear personally before the selection committee. Refer to the Award document for more details.
